Nobody remembers
the centerpieces.
They remember the floor.

I'm Drew Segura — a bilingual (EN/ES) wedding DJ & MC who reads the room, blends cultures like it's nothing, and keeps South Florida couples (and their entire families) dancing from the "I do" to la hora loca.

Raised in a Dominican-American household and fluent in both English and Spanish, I grew up where merengue, freestyle, and 2000s hip-hop all lived on the same radio dial. That's exactly how I DJ a wedding.

I've spent 8+ years and well over a thousand events learning the one thing that actually matters: how to keep everyone — your tío, your college roommates, your brand-new in-laws — on the floor at the same time. I built my whole career around weddings specifically because nothing beats a packed room when it's your people.

Open-format means I'm not locked to one genre or one generation. Reggaeton into a 2000s throwback into a salsa your abuela will scream for into the EDM your friends came for — all mixed live, read off the crowd in front of me, never off a pre-baked playlist.

The Drew rider

  • Will absolutely play your abuela's salsa request — and make it land.
  • Reads the floor in real time. No dead sets, no awkward silences.
  • Bilingual mic that hypes both sides of the family equally.
  • Backup gear for the backup gear. We've never missed a date.
  • Knows exactly when to drop Juan Luis Guerra and when to drop Bad Bunny.

Liner notes.
The honest Q&A.

Read before you book
How much does a wedding DJ cost?

Every wedding is different — guest count, hours, ceremony, lighting, the extras. Most couples land in a clear, custom package with no surprise fees. Send your date and I'll send real numbers, zero pressure.

Do you really MC in both English and Spanish?

Sí. I host bilingually so every generation and both sides of the family feel included — abuelos and college roommates on the same floor, all night.

Can we pick the songs?

100%. Must-plays, must-NOT-plays, special dances — all yours. Then I read the room live and adjust on the fly. It's your night, with a pro driving the energy.

What happens if your gear fails?

It won't — but if it ever tried, I carry full backups for every critical piece of equipment. 8+ years, 1,000+ events, exactly zero missed dates.

Do you travel outside Miami & Fort Lauderdale?

Yes — Palm Beach, Boca, Naples, the Florida Keys, and destination weddings. If you've got a venue and a date, just ask.

Do you cover ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception?

All of it, seamlessly — wireless mics for your vows, lounge vibes at cocktail, and a reception that doesn't let anyone sit down.

How far in advance should we book?

Popular dates (especially fall and peak season) book 9–14 months out. If your date is sooner, ask anyway — I sometimes have room and love a good last-minute floor.
