Miami · Fort Lauderdale Wedding DJ + MC
I'm Drew Segura — a bilingual (EN/ES) wedding DJ & MC who reads the room, blends cultures like it's nothing, and keeps South Florida couples (and their entire families) dancing from the "I do" to la hora loca.
Raised in a Dominican-American household and fluent in both English and Spanish, I grew up where merengue, freestyle, and 2000s hip-hop all lived on the same radio dial. That's exactly how I DJ a wedding.
I've spent 8+ years and well over a thousand events learning the one thing that actually matters: how to keep everyone — your tío, your college roommates, your brand-new in-laws — on the floor at the same time. I built my whole career around weddings specifically because nothing beats a packed room when it's your people.
Open-format means I'm not locked to one genre or one generation. Reggaeton into a 2000s throwback into a salsa your abuela will scream for into the EDM your friends came for — all mixed live, read off the crowd in front of me, never off a pre-baked playlist.
Everything that goes into a Drew Segura wedding — sequenced like the record it deserves to be.
Crisp wireless mics and the right song the second the doors open. Your processional, your vows, zero feedback — just goosebumps.
Lounge-leaning open format while guests find the bar, their seats, and their second drink. Sets the temperature for the night.
Your names announced like you're headlining a stadium. Walk in to your song — the room loses its mind.
The main event. Open-format mixing that jumps from reggaeton to 2000s hip-hop to salsa to EDM without ever clearing the floor.
Every announcement personal, every transition seamless, both families included. Hype in English, hype in Spanish, hype all night.
Uplighting in your colors, a custom monogram on the floor, cold sparks for the first dance, dancing on the clouds. The wow factor.
Tap every genre your crowd actually moves to. Drew mixes across all of them — consider this a five-second taste of the chaos.

pro tip: the more you pick, the more Drew shows off
"Our dance floor did not empty once. Drew had my Colombian side and my husband's Jersey crew dancing to the same songs. Witchcraft."
"Bilingual MC meant my abuela understood every word and my friends never stopped screaming. Absolutely perfect night."
"We handed him three songs and said 'read the room.' Best decision of the entire wedding, no contest."
100+ five-star reviews across Google, Zola & The Knot — these are just three.

I arrive early, dialed in, with backups for the backups. You dance. Your family dances. Nobody important sits down.

Sí. I host bilingually so every generation and both sides of the family feel included — abuelos and college roommates on the same floor, all night.
100%. Must-plays, must-NOT-plays, special dances — all yours. Then I read the room live and adjust on the fly. It's your night, with a pro driving the energy.
It won't — but if it ever tried, I carry full backups for every critical piece of equipment. 8+ years, 1,000+ events, exactly zero missed dates.
Yes — Palm Beach, Boca, Naples, the Florida Keys, and destination weddings. If you've got a venue and a date, just ask.
All of it, seamlessly — wireless mics for your vows, lounge vibes at cocktail, and a reception that doesn't let anyone sit down.
Popular dates (especially fall and peak season) book 9–14 months out. If your date is sooner, ask anyway — I sometimes have room and love a good last-minute floor.
